EQUIVIZOR eye protection is designed for horses suffering from eye disease, recovering from eye surgery or who often scratch their eyes. The mask is made of soft , clear PVC and is available with either light or dark ("sunglasses") UV protection tint.
The mask is available in foal, pony, cob, regular and large horse sizes and includes a separate UV resistant fly mesh for added protection.
NEW: Special pads have been added to the mask for additional padding on the bridge of the nose and halter, which are included in the price (note: pads not available for size "foal"). This prevents chafing even with frequent pushing (e.g. periodic eye inflammation) .
With tinted PVC for 92% UV protection , including fly net. In this combination with net = 100% UV protection.

Sehr gut für Rekonvaleszenten geeignet

Nach einer OP (Plattenepithel-Carcinom am Auge) muss mein Pferd diese Maske nun längerfristig tragen. Es klappt ganz gut, einige Male hat er sie abstreifen können. Aber das kann im Offenstall auch passieren. Trotzdem scheint er den Sinn zu verstehen, denn das Auge sieht deutlich besser aus. Dank des besonderen Schnittes kann er mit dem Auge nicht mehr auf dem Boden scheuern. Die Befestigungsriemen mussten mit Lammfell nachgepolstert werden, aber nun sitzt die Maske gut. Die mitgelieferte, recht engmaschige "Überzieh"Fliegenmaske ersetze ich allerdings meist durch eine andere Fliegenmaske, die durchsichtiger ist, da er sich sonst nicht so gut orientieren kann. Alles in allem ein tolles Produkt, das seinen Preis wert ist.

Die Augenmaske hat eine sehr gute Passform, lässt sich prima an den Pferdekopf anpassen, ist weich gepolstert und zeugt von hoher Qualität. Stöße werden sehr gut abgefedert, so dass die Augen immer optimal geschützt sind. Auch die dazugehörige Fliegenmaske ist von hoher Qualität.
Sehr kundenfreundliche Beratung und schnelle Bestellabwicklung.

Der Equivizor passt zwar auf den ersten Blick gut, kann aber doch sehr leicht abgestreift werden! Obwohl damit geworben wird, dass er zum Dauereinsatz gedacht ist, findet man in den Hinweisen den Vermerk, dass das Pferd isoliert und ohne Abstreifmöglichkeiten gestellt werden muss! Beim Probetragen im Offenstall blieb er nicht mal ne halbe Stunde drauf. Da bereits beim einmaligen Herunterfallen leichte Kratzspuren im Material entstanden, war auch eine Rückabwicklung nicht mehr möglich. Bin sehr verärgert und kann nun versuchen, das nutzlose Ding privat zu verkaufen, um wenigstens einen Teil meiner Kosten wieder zurück zu bekommen. Absolut nicht empfehlenswert!!!
